Hey, I’m Andrei!

I’m a full stack developer from Craiova, Romania, now based in Leek, UK.  I have a passion for coding and get most enjoyment from solving problems with writing elegant/maintainable code and sharing knowledge. I love learning so I'm always keeping up to date by watching conference talks, listening to podcasts and reading blog posts.

My coding journey began in my first year of University, in 2014. One of my class mates asked me if I would be interested to apply for an internship at Gesof-Med, because they were looking for someone passionate about coding and willing to learn more. I was accepted for the internship and within 2 months I was hired as a developer. I’ve been working in the industry since then.

Outside work, I consider myself to be an outdoor person, I like hiking, jogging, swimming and, when I get the chance, I love to travel and discover new places, this was one of the reasons I moved to the UK. If I have to stay indoors, I like watching football and I enjoy a good movie.
