NetRom

Full stack mobile developer
February 2020 - Present

I've been working for NetRom since 2020 as a Mobile Developer. I'm currently working with 14 other developers, but and I am the only one developing mobile apps. The apps developed inside this team are used in public transport. The technologies I used are Swift for iOS, Java for Android and, right now, I'm using React Native for the new apps.

Also, I was involved in training 2 junior developers over the past few years.

Gesof-Med

Full stack developer
2014-2020

ShieldUP

Android • Java • API • ZXing • OkHttp • Retrofit

The app I built was for cutting and shaping protection screens for mobile devices, laptops, watches and other small devices.

Responsibilities and duties:
  1. force update
  2. adding support for new plotters/cutters
  3. migrating libraries (e.g. androidX, ZXing, QR Code Scanner)
  4. fixing bugs & improvements

Taxi

iOS • Swift • AngularJS • Google Map • CoreLocation

The project was built for taxi companies from Romania. I was involved in developing the web (front-end) app and the mobile app. The main features implemented by me were:

  • sign-in / sign-up using a phone number
  • possibility to pay inside the vehicle or using the selected card within the app
  • booking history
  • create a new booking based on a previous/older one

MyTicket

iOS • Swift • Alamofire • Codable • AVFoundation

The target audience were people using the public transport (e.g. bus, tram, subway, etc.). Using the app, the customer can buy a ticket, while avoiding the interaction with the driver.

The app was a light one and it had just a few features:
  1. sign-in / sign-up using a phone number
  2. add / delete card
  3. buy a ticket by scanning a QR code

DigiCost

macOS • Swift • WKWebView • CSV

A small project for MacOS, with the sole purpose of crawling data from a website and exporting it into an Excel file.

TheGuideTo

iOS • Swift • SceneKit • ARKit • AccuWeatherAPI

While deveoping this project, I used:

  1. SceneKit and ARKit for displaying a 3D model (e.g. mountains)
  2. zoom-in / zoom-out on the 3D model
  3. create a third-party library (CocoaPods) which integrates the AccuWeather API

Pontaj

iOS • IoT • Arduino UNO • C • Swift • NFC • CoreLocation

The purpose of the project was to calculate the time spent a company's employees. They employees could use the iOS / Android app when they entered the company's building / offices and also when they left the premises. Also, each employee had an NFC token and they could use that instead of the app itself.

My job was to develop the apps (both iOS and Android) and I also built the device which read the token devices. Here are a few of the implemented functionalities:
  1. customer check-in / check-out using the GPS coordinates
  2. device's connection to Ethernet
  3. read / decrypt NFC tokens

Computy Gastro

iOS • Swift • Android • Java • CoreLocation • Alamofire • OkHttp
'Computy Gastro' is focused on highlighting tools which are actually useful in clinical practice and serve to impact diagnosis, treatment or determining prognosis about Gastroenterology.

The app can be easily configured and all formulas like CDAI, Blachford Score, FIB-4 for Noninvasive Diagnosis of Hepatic Fibrosis, and so on can be easily added. To calculate the result, I used NSExpression.

LimoNow

iOS • Swift • WebSockets • MapKit

LimoNow is an app for people transport, similar to Uber. The purpose of the app was to offer the customers the possibility to create a booking by selecting the pickup location and the destination. This was the first project I worked on where I had the chance to work on a native app. I had to chose between Swift 2 and Objective-C, and my choice was Swift. I developed more than 4 internal libraries and the most important one was GFCommunication where I had 2 options of communcation with the server HTTP and WebSockets.

TiEeco / MarketGlass

The app was designed to inform, educate, and engage technology professionals and entrepreneurs worldwide. The app and its back-end platform enables users to receive and publish curated news, blogs, videos and podcasts through a virtual ecosystem specifically designed for startups, tech entrepreneurs and investment professionals.
